What Advisor OS is
Advisor OS drafts meeting records for licensed financial advisors: structured notes, a suitability rationale, a plain-language client recap, and action items — generated by AI from material you provide, and filed only after you review and approve every word. It is offered as a pre-release product, without charge, while it is being built in the open.
What it is not
- It is not financial, legal, or compliance advice. Drafts are starting points; you are the professional, and what you approve is your record.
- It does not certify compliance with any regulator's rules. It gives you records and controls to evidence your own compliance — whether they satisfy your regulator is your judgment to make.
- It transmits nothing on your behalf: no email to clients, no CRM push, no filings.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for having whatever consent your jurisdiction requires before recording or transcribing a client conversation.
- You are responsible for reviewing AI drafts before approving them. Approval freezes the text permanently and is designed to be irreversible.
- Keep your credentials to yourself; the workspace is only as private as they are.
- Do not put real client information in the shared demo workspace.
Pre-release honesty
Advisor OS is under active development. It is provided as-is, with no warranty and no service-level commitment. Features may change; the operator may suspend accounts that abuse the service. If you build a regulated practice's records on a pre-release product, keep your own export discipline — the per-meeting CRM export exists exactly so your records are never trapped here.
Your content
What you enter remains yours. The operator processes it only to run the product (see Privacy) and claims no other rights to it.
